relieved a horrid class on thurs and while i had to tolerate them for the whole day, my kids from my two fav class were sweet.

from my second fav class, a bunch of them came over to my class and waited for me to go for breakfast and escorted me back to class. That was funny.
two kids from my fav class sent me a mms to cheer me up..

4 years being a teacher here and this is the 2nd time i'm being bullied in class
first time being 3 years ago and i shouted at the kid to sit down and shut up or leave the class
he sat down and kept mum for the entire day.

second time being today
i didn't shout back (that's already unusual), merely warned him to stop it but he didn't
so there goes his name.. to the discipline committee.
not going to waste my energy on him, let someone else deal with him.
a kid without basic courtesy doesn't deserve my attention in class.

this class doesn't belong to me; it's just a relief class which explains why i'm not spending effort to counsel him
the first kid belonged to my class so slightly different. cannot afford to let him continue his defiant attitude

looking at the faces of the kiddos doing their maths understanding test amuses me!
they all looked highly stressed up - scribbing furiously onto the rough paper, tapping constantly at their calculator and opening up many files for references

amusing.
this must be how all my teachers felt when they invigilated us last time
not that i haven't invigilated before but this class never fails to amuse me by their unique little gestures

it's fast.
i've spent a long 11 weeks with this class (my fav, if you can't tell by now)
in my entire 4 years in RP, this is officially the 2nd fav class so far.
the first being w25L, and now w16L.
woot. i really adore them, each and everyone! =)

and what makes it even happier is that they did so well for enterprise understanding test 1
the whole class passed except one kid which is expected to fail
hardworking, fun-loving, innocent and most importantly, teachable kids.

i'm so going to miss them.. 4 more weeks with them.
they remind me of the "ohana" in w25L.
so similar. ah, nostalgic.

hubby's convo today; marks the end of studying in nie and full-time teaching in school

haven't blogged for a long while, nothing much in particular
just wasting time while invigilating.
