Friday, September 19, 2008 i'm like the lowest-ranked person inside here! *stressed. let's see who's here.. from SPRING: Deputy Director, Senior Manager, Manager from SIM: Director, Managers from RP: Director, Asst Director, Manager, Head.. and me! they were all exchanging namecards just now.. i did for a while and got tired. people from SPRING are really nice.. the senior manager and manager are super young... hmmm. based on namecard from SIM, there are some nice positions available there..hmmm. hmmm hmmmm. alright. time to pay attention. //posted by ivy @ 11:29//
Tuesday, September 16, 2008 had lesson the whole day and grading 4 PP reports as well came home and finished the remainder of portfolio and most importantly, problem materials for HRM04. super stressed because i can't sleep till i'm done with it it's almost 1am now.. i've 5 hours of sleep. tues is a full day of class as well and i've to prepare leadership training materials in between breaks because conducting the lesson at 5pm and i haven't gathered all the materials yet. it's only tues! help!!!! //posted by ivy @ 00:53//
Thursday, September 11, 2008 oh-oh. i could feel the sore throat starting..and because i had class that day, i tried not to talk so much but the class was so quiet. not much of a choice.. went to see the doctor after class. tues was as painful as ever.. in the morning but after a while, it got a little better but i felt myself burning up. the fever was back and it didn't help that i had to handle a class which was so noisy! the whole day was spent trying to make myself better by drinking water, eating fruits and medicine on time went for GB meeting at night.. and i felt so sleepy! wed morning was bad i almost didn't want to head to work but again, i had class! forced myself out of bed and went to work it was quite hard to bear because i knew i just needed to rest to get better but the rest wasn't coming! the air-con was so cold throughout the day slept from 10pm last night all the way till noon today and i felt so much better!! throat is not that sore now, running nose has turned into blocked nose and fever has gone away. yippie! because there's moonies celebration tonight at elena's place! also celebrating choon hou's birthday if he doesn't disappear the last minute got 2 classes of grading to do by tmr 5pm, an article to be submitted to my boss by 10am, a test question to craft by 11am and problem materials to be amended by 2pm. oh well. let me enjoy the evening first. it's also the girls' informal way of chilling out since we didn't manage to have it done during the term break. and eric sng! i'm so thankful for the wonderful and timely sms from him when i was half-dead yesterday. =) and violet leong (and carol)! i like the new design you know (though i still think it's so WWF)... but i'm so fickle-minded i might add on new things again! Sunday, September 07, 2008 first of all, big CONGRATS to wenxun and huiwen on your marriage! =) such a sweet day! every wedding carries with it its own special story between the couple and it's such a joyous occasion to see them coming together to be as one on wed, we had the cell girls' bridal shower for huiwen it was fun! making her do silly things like donning on a toot-toot girl's outfit and completing sabotage stages and she was spontaneous about it too! marie helped her so much! heh. it was also mao's birthday that day! =) fri was youth entrepreneurship conference a full day of conference but we made it through being in blazer the whole day with heels is no joke - superly tiring sat was huiwen's wedding thankie to joyce for her pretty purple dress from bangkok - came in so timely. down with fever today lack of sleep the whole week; feel that i've been running on reserve since the start of the week it's been truly a tiring start to the semester! //posted by ivy @ 22:16// |
